Life

I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving! I have always loved this holiday because it makes me think about all of the wonderful things in my life I am thankful for. And we spend it with those we love. When I was a little girl we would go to my Grandparents for Thanksgiving. My grandma always used her nicest dishes and made a wonderful meal. Then my parents carried on this wonderful tradition until our families grew too big. Now it is my turn to carry on the tradition in my own family. We all love getting together and eating lots of turkey and pie and playing games. This year Tony is going to smoke a turkey all night, I can't wait to eat it.
I remember when Trevor was about to be born, I was due a little after Thanksgiving and I begged the Dr to start me early because I didn't want to miss Thanksgiving dinner at my moms. He agreed and I had Trevor the Friday before Thanksgiving. I was so grateful that I didn't have to miss it. Now he is 12 years old. Can you believe it? Where has the time gone? He is such a fine young man. And so handsome too! I am so proud of him for earning his Faith in God and being ordained into the priesthood. We had a wonderful day today celebrating his birthday and accomplishments.

Wow, I can still remember when you told us you were pregnant with Trev. It seems like such a long time ago, and yet it doesn't. He certainly has grown into a handsome young man. That is so neat that he is now 12, ordained to the Priesthood and can pass the sacrament. You have such a cute family. Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
